 Traveling today by means of airlines is a very efficient mode of transportation for businessmen, celebrities, or everyday people like you and I. But with Billions of people flying worldwide every year, this can be a very difficult business to handle. There are several threats in which people try to take advantage of the airlines or to inflict harm. These threats could include physical security, cyber security, and medical risks. Today I am mentioning the physical security risks that airports specifically face.    911 As we all know as a world changing event, killing 2977 people and leaving thousands of others suffering. This occurred due to capable terrorist and the lack of security in airports before 2002. Just over two months after this horrific attack the TSA was put in place by President George W. Bush.  Use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles      The use of Unmanned Aerial vehicles (UAV) has been an issue since the release of the first personally owned UAVs in 2006. I will speak specifically about personally-owned UAVs or Personally owned photography drones as pictured to the right.       As a drone operator and owner, I am a huge fan of flying and taking photos with drones. Without proper training and ignorance in the drone industry, we could have catastrophic accidents. So far I have found no incidents with fatal accidents but have found several near misses, or drones hitting aircraft and causing delays in landing. "An Airbus A320 pilot reported seeing a helicopter-style drone as the jet was 700 feet off the ground on its approach to the runway" is an example of a near miss with an aircraft.
